Bandolá

„Bandolá" ist ein Flamenco-Gesangsstil.

 

Sie gilt als ein Gesang, der aus „verdiales" stammt. „Bandolás" sind entstanden, als „verdiales" seinen tanzbaren Charakter verloren hat. Sie wird nur von einer Band begleitet: ein einziger Sänger (mit einem langsameren Tempo) mit einer Gitarre.

 

Für andere Autoren gilt die „Bandolá" als den gemeinsamen Kern aller „Cantes de Málaga" (Gesänge aus Málaga): „rondeñas", „jabegote“, „jabera", „malagueña", sowie „fandangos abandolaos" und Gesänge wie diejenige von Juan Breva oder die „granaínas" von Frasquito „Yerbagüena".
