Cantiñas

„Cantiñas" ist eine Gruppe von Flamenco-Gesängen, der typisch aus Cádiz, Los Puertos (Cádiz, San Fernando, Chiclana de la Frontera, Puerto Real, El Puerto de Santa María und Sanlúcar de Barrameda) und Jerez de la Frontera sind.

 

Diese Gruppe umfasst die folgenden Stile: „Alegrías“, „Romeras", „Mirabrás", „Caracoles", „Rosas" und „Cantiñas". Die Metrik folgt dem Rhythmus der „Soleá", aber mit einer schnelleren Tempo wegen ihres festliche Charakters.

 

Die Melodien sind tonal und erhalten Motive und Verse der Volkslieder der Region Cádiz. Das bezieht sich auf Lieder von dem spanischen Unabhängigkeitskrieg wie zum Beispiel die „Jota" aus Cádiz.
