Information about seguiriya. It is one of the oldest palos of flamenco. The name derives from "seguidilla". The principal areas are Jerez, and Triana in Seville.
“Saeta” is a flamenco singing without guitar accompaniment with origin in the Andalusian folklore. It is performed in Easter religious parades.
"Soleá" is a flamenco style whose first origins date from the nineteenth century. It has a very expressive dance.
"Tanguillo". It is a folk variant of flamenco singing with origin in tangos of Cádiz. It is also known as "tanguillos de Cádiz". Lyrics are ironic, humorous and satirical, even though they are always festive, for having a funny time.
