Cuevas Los Tarantos

Cuevas Los Tarantos is an outstanding place for flamenco in Granada. It is located in Sacromonte neighbourhood, the most important gypsy quarter in Granada, where flamenco is lived as a special show inside their caves.

Zambra was born in Sacromonte and its roots are the result of an ancient fusion between Moorish and Gypsy cultures. Because of its location, in front of the Alhambra, it's the most emblematic flamenco place in Granada.

Since 1972, Cueva de los Tarantos offers an authentic show of Zambra Gitana. Thank to a high quality show, it has become an important Zambra flamenca.

For more than thirty years, Maya Martin family, descendants of its founders (José Martin Quesada and Concepción Maya), delight their audience with a show full of art, emotion, purity, color and passion. We provide you with up to three different caves, where every evening guests enjoy an amazing show.

The audience comes into a gypsy and intimate atmosphere and sits around important, local artists to live flamenco with all its "charm".
