Tientos

Tientos ist ein binärer Flamenco-Stil, der zu der Tangos-Gruppe gehört. Dies ist Volkslied, die aus 3 oder 4 achtsilbrigen Versen besteht. Es folgt einen Refrain. Sein Ursprung ist der „tango flamenco“, aber sein Rhythmus ist langsamer. Daher wurde diese Stil früher als „tango tiento“ bekannt.

 

Der Sänger Marruro gilt als ein der Schöpfer dieses Stils. Nachher modernisiert Enrique Mellizo diesen Stil. Andere renommierte Tientos-Sänger waren Pastora Pavón „la Niña de las Peinas" und Antonio Chacón.
