Jabera

„Jabera" ist ein der ältsten Flamenco-Stile und gehört zur Gruppe der „cantes malagueños". Ählich wie „rondeña" und „malagueña" stammt direkt von dem „fandango" ab.

 

Sie stammt an den gleichen Zeiten wie diese zwei Stile und hatte Ihre eigene Entwicklung. „Jabera" war ein Gesang, der besonders wichtig in der Jahrhundertwende zwischen dem 19. und 20. Jahrhundert. Ein der erste Künstler dieses Stils war El Mimi, aber der renommiertste war El Chato de Jerez, wer dieser Stil in „cafés cantantes" in Madrid einführte. Derzeit ist ein Flamenco-Stil nicht sehr beliebt unter den modernsten Sängern.
