Niña Pastori: new album, 2026 Tour and performance before Pope Leo XIV in Madrid
5/8/2026
The Cádiz-born singer Niña Pastori will star in a historic moment on 6 June, when she performs before Pope Leo XIV during his visit to Madrid. The artist will give her performance after the pontiff’s visit to the CEDIA 24 Horas centre of Cáritas in the La Latina district, in an event set to be one of the most notable dates in the capital.
This milestone coincides with the imminent release of her new album, Color Fania, which will be released on 29 May. On this album, Niña Pastori delves into the universe of the legendary label Fania Records, reinterpreting salsa classics from her distinctive flamenco roots. Recorded between Spain and Miami and produced by Colombian producer Casta, the project revisits anthems by figures such as Celia Cruz, Rubén Blades and Héctor Lavoe, building a natural bridge between Latin music and flamenco.
With more than three decades of career, six Latin Grammys and over two million records sold, Niña Pastori reaffirms with this work her ability to evolve without losing authenticity, consolidating herself as one of the most influential voices in contemporary Spanish music. The first single from the album, “Periódico de ayer”, is now available on all platforms, and the artist is finalising the details of her 2026 Tour of Spain.
