Glossary of flamenco

Alegría is a festive flamenco style that belongs to “cantinas” group (Cantes de Cádiz).

“Bandolá” is considered as a derived singing from “verdiales”.

Information about "romance". It is a flamenco style also called "corridos" or "corridas" regarding the songs' continuity.

Caracoles is a flamenco singing style whose origin is in “cantiñas” dancing, more specifically in an "cantiña" called "caracolera".
