Arte Flamenco Las Arenas is located in the auditorium of Las Arenas Shopping Centre (Former Plaza de las Arenas). A wonderful enclave in Barcelona to enjoy an unforgettable flamenco evening.

 

Since May 1995, this tablao offers a flamenco show of high quality. Show and atmosphere has been carefully designed to offer a unique flamenco stage. Some areas look like a typical an Andalusian courtyard thanks to an excellent decoration.

Glossary of flamenco

"zapateado" as palo flamenco belonging of the polyrhythmic groupo. Its main feature is the primary use of tap-dance as percussion.

Corrios are one of the oldest flamenco styles. It was originated in the medieval Castilian romances.

Sevillanas are a very popular flamenco style, typical from Sevilla and Huelva and other provinces in Andalusia. They are popular in festivals and pilgrimages.

"Rumba catalana" is a flamenco genre developed by the Catalan gypsy community in Barcelona since the mid 50s.
