Premiere of Cariño, pásame el pan: the new album by Maui de Utrera, full of music, art and gastronomy

4/8/2026

On 17 April, Cariño, pásame el pan, the new album by flamenco artist Maui de Utrera, will be released. It is her sixth album, preceded by the releases of Tataki de ti with María Peláe, Plato roto, Mi yemita fría and La acelga y el lenguao.

Cariño, pásame el pan is presented as a tasting menu where each song is a unique dish. Maui creates a musical experience cooked with her unmistakable signature, blending flamenco, humour, poetry and singer-songwriter craft.

Born in Utrera and raised between compás and freedom, Maui has developed a highly personal style in which flamenco converses with musical theatre, poetry, irony and a sharp yet tender sense of humour. With six albums released, her work turns the everyday into celebration and love into something that is slowly cooked over a low heat. Mentored by Martirio and niece of the legendary Bambino, she has established herself as a unique creator on the music scene, able to share emotions in every one of her songs.

Together with the release of the album, Maui continues to celebrate love, compás and the art of savouring life with her show “Vermut y Potaje”. It is a stage ritual in which she cooks her mother’s potaje live while she sings, improvises and shares stories with the audience.

The upcoming dates for Vermut y Potaje will be 12 April in Seville and 26 April in Madrid.

The new album, Cariño, pásame el pan, reaffirms Maui’s musical vision: an act of shared, sincere and natural love. Its songs, created to be savoured slowly with both stomach and heart open, are the following:

  • “Brindis”
  • “Plato roto”
