Flamenco Festival 2019 in London. From July 2 to 14

For the first time, the Flamenco Festival will take place at the Sadler’s Wells Theater in London.

 

London will start the summer with a fierce explosion of flamenco, by the hand of great and heartrending Spanish artists.

 

Flamenco Festival presents a complete programme of music and dance, full of tradition and avant-garde. The artists will explore in its shows what flamenco is and what it can be like art. On this occasion the Sadler’s Wells Theatre premieres as a stage.

  • Monday, July 8 at 7:30 PM. Miguel Poveda: “Recital de cante”.
  • Tuesday, July 9 at 7:30 PM. Rocío Molina: “Caída del cielo”.
  • Wednesday, July 10 at 7:30 PM. Dorantes, Tim Ries, Adam Ben Ezra and Jesús Carmona: “Flamenco meets jazz”.
  • Thursday, July 11 at 7:30 PM. Olga Pericet: “La espina que quiso ser flor o la flor que quiso ser bailaora”.
  • Friday July 12 and Saturday July 13 at 7:30 PM. Mercedes Ruiz, Eduardo Guerrero, María Moreno and María Terremoto: “Gala Flamenca”.
  • Sunday, July 14:
    • At 7:30 PM. Patricia Guerrero: “Catedral”.
    • At 9:00 PM. Olga Pericet, Patricia Guerrero and Mercedes Ruiz: “Workshop Program Flamenco Festival London 2019”.
