Cabal

"Cabal" is considered as one of the original flamenco styles. It can be described as a “seguiriya” version which is sung as a change or finish of this style.

It is also known as "Seguiriya cambiá". Musically, it has a beat which alternates the "seguiriya" one but in a high tone. It's believed that the composer of this style was El Fillo and was spreaded by Silverio Franconetti. Its name is owed to a story that occurred in the mid-nineteenth century, between El Fillo and the bullfighter Paquiro.
