Bandolá
"Bandolá" is a flamenco singing style.
It is considered as a derived singing from “verdiales”. “Bandolás” were originated when “verdiales” lost its danceable character. They are accompanied only by music: interpreted by one singer at a slower rhythm, accompanied only by a guitar.
For some authors, “bandolá” is considered as the common core of Malaga singing: “rondeñas”, “jabegote”, “jabera”,“malagueñas” as well as “fandangos abandolaos” and Juan Breva singings, or “granaína” of Frasquito "Yerbagüena".
